One of my missions if I ever want to get my wife and in-laws to NC is to find good camping along the coastline. Up here on Long Island, my FIL can literally camp on the Atlantic here in Montauk Long Island. He puts his camper 30 feet from the water on the sand. Is there anything like that in Coastal NC? Not necessarily the Atlantic itself, but I see there are a lot of bays and inlets. Thanks in advance.

Hi fellow L.I.'er !

I don't know much about "camping" in the Brunswick County area but, I know there are a few "RV Parks" in Myrtle beach SC. Google "Myrtle Beach state park" You can camp there, or at these two places very close to it.
