The CW network has picked up "One Tree Hill," a television show filmed in Wilmington, for a ninth season. The show rents production offices and sound stages at EUE/Screen Gems' Wilmington campus. It employs about 125 locally.
This is the first year I'm 4 hours away for the filming of my favorite television show, and I couldn't be more excited to head to Wilmington this summer/fall!
Is One Tree Hill still good? I haven't watched since the season where 2 of the main characters left the show.
It hasn't been as good the past two seasons without them AT ALL. I still watch because it is a favorite, but it's not what it used to be. Rumor has it that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton will show up for the finale, so I'll hold out hope.
i dont watch much tv (and no series) well, dr who. but thats different LOL
and based on what my daughter watches... im really not missing much. LOL
i remember when dawsons creek was filmed down here. it was, right? i dont think its still on... anyways, i had a friend who was always trying to star spot and name drop and he had a huge crush on one of the main characters, and im honestly surprised he didnt stalk her, or maybe he did and just didnt tell me everything LOL
