Below is the 7 day weather forecast for the Crystal Coast from the NWS. It's perfect weather for fishing. It's perfect weather for vacationing. But it's been too "perfect" for too long. We need some rain! My grass is brown & crunchy!!

Today: Sunny, with a high near 89. Southwest wind between 9 and 14 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 70. Southwest wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind between 8 and 13 mph.

We need lots of rain to cool things off. I could've sworn it rained alot during springtime the past several years. Alot of creeks are dried up, etc. What happened to the rain?

I don't know, I too wish for a bit of rain. The drought is bad and getting worse for us regionally....but I will say we actually had spring this year for the first time in years and it was awesome.

Now we need the rain though........

We've been in a La Niña condition this year, so the southeast would be abnormally dry in the Summer. It's also partially to blame for the tornado outbreaks this year.
