Looking for a place to take the family.I have had people mention numerous places I should go,but wanted to see if anybody had any input first. Here are the paces that have been mentioned...
Nags Head,Oak Island,Sunset Beach,Topsail Beach,Emerald Isle,Ocean Isle
Went to Atlantic Beach last year and loved it.I'm not a big fan of huge crowds,so that may narrow it down some.I like to fish and the women love to go shopping at all the stores in the area. Also like to see lighthouses and take boat rides. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks

I'm leaning towards Nags Head, doesn't seem that it's a very crowded place. Having all those things to do is nice also. Thanks

Definitely Nags Head. Or anywhere in the outer banks. Maybe Ocracoke. I don't know if you're looking to go now, but wait a few months and you can spend more time there for what you'd pay now.

It's no secret that I love Oak Island. Quiet, nice beaches. Ferry to Fort Fisher to see the aquarium. Plenty of sunset boat rides available. Two fishing piers plus the one in Southport for GREAT fishing!! And a whole walking downtown of shopping at the most interesting stores (and restaurants). Oak Island and Bald Head Lighthouses. Maritime Museum. Waterfront Park.
We're heading there 7/19 for our annual trip.
