NC Native visiting (Wilmington: live in, prices, vacation)

Ok, Live in NC all my life. Have vacationed in Moorehead City as a kid. Pier fishing was grand then. Surf and head boats (wreck) was great also. Have been doing the Wilmington thing for the last few years. Fishing ok prices fair. Looking for other places along the coast where fishing is good, prices are right and a Carolina boy & family can relax!!!! Kids are older 16 to 20. Only two. May or may not come. In the 40's old crowd.

It's Morehead...not Moorehead.

Don't feel bad. Lots of people make that mistake.
