So basically, "Yes, we don't care that you're gay, just don't you dare try and show it?"
Praying is the least you can do. Maybe you could try and accept the fact that some people live their lives differently and as long as they do it in a decent manner, it's really none of your concern.
Direct quote from the news article......
"Pizza Hut representatives told reporters that Murphy visited the restaurant three times and did not purchase anything. After customers complained about his appearance, Murphy was asked to leave."

That raises more questions though. Would he have purchased something? If he showed up and didn't purchase anything - never intending to - that's much weirder than wearing a dress would be (who window shops at Pizza Hut ?)
I can't imagine complaining to management about a guy wearing a dress. I really feel that people just need to point the finger back at themselves sometime. It may not be their norm but was he bothering them and interfering with their dining experience? I guess those customers won't be going to any drag shows anytime soon...

But the article also says he was there to pick up an order, so somebody's not telling the truth. I'm siding with the guy in the dress, he seems like a more stand-up fella than some assistant night manager at Pizza Hut.
