Thanks for posting. The news was stating Hwy 12 was compromise, I was hoping sand was wash over it.
Looks like part of it was wash away. Was it washed away in one section or did he fly over another section or reflew over the same section.
I feel for whoever home burn to the ground.

Wow. I'm totally speechless. We've stayed in the Rodanthe Waves Salvo area - such a beautiful, amazing place.

Hard to tell, but it looks as though the pier survived. The whole area looks flooded with lots of damage but I'm hoping that most of the homes and businesses made it through. We've had the pleasure of meeting many of the locals over there - super nice people. So sad for them.

It looks as the Morehead City is mostly o.k. which is very good news.
