Oregon Inlet Fishing Center
Fishing Report 9/29
Beautiful day with great fishing. What a combination! Offshore charters came in with good catches of yellowfin and blackfin tuna. Nearshore charters had a good afternoon with spanish mackerel and albacore. Inshore light tackle charters had a variety pack. Catches of bluefish, puppy drum, black drum, flounder, sheepshead and trout.

Fishing Report 9/29
Summary: YELLOWFINS HAVE TAKEN OVER

YELLOWFIN TUNAS HAVE TAKEN OVER!
In the TUNA GAME offshore the YELLOWFIN TUNAS JUST DOMINATED the poles today; while, the blackfin tuna bite did slack up quite a bit. We had some PHENOMENAL “WILD HAIR” CATCHES today at the cove. By that I mean, LANDING an UNEXPECTED STANDOUT FISH RIGHT SMACK DAP IN THE MIDDLE OF A TUNA FRENZY!
A SALT WEAPON: 49.5lbs WAHOO cranked in by Mark Schuld from Terre Haute, IN
BI-OP-SEA: SAILFISH RELEASE by future Marlin Magazine Star Luke Jennings of Reedville, VA
TOTAL MEATFISH WEIGH-IN AT THE COVE TODAY = 3,000LBS

Both of the above fleet of sportfishing boats fish exclusively out of Oregon Inlet

You can fish off of the bridge too!
