Greenville NC area GLBT friendly were ? I live in the Greenville Area and other than a few run ins at the East Carolina University campus and medical school ( Brody Medical School Bigots and staff)
which seems to have a staff of Bigots at the ECU Physicians clinic and a few other parts of the medical school . I would say over all no there are not any community for GLBT that i know of as I have lived here for on and off 12 1/2 years u87 may see 1 or 2 around town from time to time but that's about it Remember were talking Country the biggest employer in Greenville is ECU so u figure it out the only gay bar in town was closed due to city road project and no one with the realty space will rent to them to reopen that tell u anything ... there is a underground like in the olden days so i have been told but that's all i know of it so good luck to thous that need any GLBT places to party go to or any support groups as thee is None I know off .

Hello. Having worked at ECU for six years, I can share that there are a number of faculty and staff there that are part of the LGBTQ community. And, as ECU is the cultural, sports, entertainment hub of the Greenville area, it would be sensible to get involved in the university community.
