ATT ( AT&T for phone and internet ) is the pits.

They added unwanted extra services without asking after we have been with them for 4 years, and when we called to get those new services and their respective charges removed they stated that they do not legally have to ask permission to dump those extras on people. When we said we would then find another company, they quickly backtracked and promised to remove the unwanted extras and their charges --and 7 weeks later still has not happened.

When we again tried to call to get it done, they had us on hold for an hour!

So we called Time Warner instead, (my coworker went through this too and switched to another smaller company, this is not a sales pitch for Time Warner, just a warning about ATT): and on the same day, Time Warner had no problem answering the phone when we called, not putting us on hold, and DRUM ROLL gave a price $28 less per month than what we were paying ATT, AND included free long distance, which ATT does not.

Shees, why didn't we dump ATT a long time ago.

Again, shop some of the smaller companies, it may be another one that serves your area, but do shop them to avoid the ATT ripoff.

I've been a happy Vonage customer for 7 years now. I highly recommend it.
