I see alot of threads about apartments around 600-800 range?

but see few answers is this because an apartment is rare in area between wilmington and beaches?

I will be coming down for some testing to try to get job at G.E. aviation

i will spend a couple of days looking for apt, rent house something till i learn area

My question is this

Could you plz tell me without a doubt were i dont want to look?

I mean crime drugs theft i mean im a country boy any suggestions?

How about were to look and not to look

No one knows area better than locals and it would save me so much time.

I trust your opinion.

Randy, there are some houses for rent in our subdivision. I've seen two in the immediate area. And we are VERY happy here. It's a nice quiet subdivision. It's in Belville. Longest commute to GE has been 25 mins on a bad day.

Now, everyone will tell you that getting across the bridges are a disaster. It can be. And it will be getting worse before the DOT in NC fixes the problem. And the fix is at least 8-10 years down the road. Wilmington area and west traffic problems

I've also seen some apts near GE off Martin Luther King Blvd and Kerr Rd. I don't know their names, haven't caught that part but from what I have seen of them, they look fairly new. The advantage there is not having to cross the bridges,

I'm sure others will chime in as to where NOT to look cause some have to always mention the crime in Wilmington in every one of their posts. (Called beating a dead horse after awhile) Liz

Randy, I have looked at most apts. in town when I was searching a few months ago. I just moved into the Park at Three Oaks which is in the Ogden area right off Market. I really like it here so far. The apts that Liz is talking about are in a nice place too. If you have any questions or want to ask me something specific, I will do my best to help.
