First time visit to outer banks area for memorial day weekend. Any inputs on where can I book hotel and what are places to see.. we will be driving from Charlotte NC.

Places to see: On Roanoke Island there is the NC Aquariam, elizabithan Gardens, Lost colony Play.
Nags Head: Jocky's Ridge, The BEACH.
Kill Devil Heals: The Wright Brothers Memorial and The BEACH.
If you want to make the drive Ocrcoke Island and Village. There is a British cemitery in Ocrocoke Village.

And there is lots more that I can't think of at the moment.
