Probably not....what you said you paid for a mani-pedi is cheaper than what I'd pay for one in Fayetteville or Clinton. You can find discount dry cleaners near the military bases, so the closest one to the beach would be in Jacksonville.

Default personal services

Wanted to share a good thing regarding services in Wilmington. I moved here at the end of May and, while visiting, found personal services to be expensive, compared to West Palm Beach.

Saturday, I went to The Wilmington College, in the Independence Mall, and had a color and a hair cut for $22 !

The color was beautiful, exactly what I wanted, supervised by the instructor. The cut was good too and you can also request the same person again until they graduate. Senior prices over 55 too! Very happy.

Next question: Has anyone used Pat's Auto Services? I am searching for affordable vehicle maintenance. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Cool! I had paid $75 for a full coloring. I hadn't heard of The College of Wilmington before, but it's a career training school with cosmetology and massage therapy courses.

Hair salon: A Shear Distinction; Owner: Barbara. She's great but more reasonably priced than most. They also offer mani/pedi but would be around $40
