I find the most useful information in Trulia. I like the way it shows where the property is and how it codes the information.

I know it doesn't get everything, but I think it is a very good way to start looking and narrow your search.

Trulia search for Emerald Isle

Default Best Real Estate Listings

I have found that the most helpful real estate agents are at the Prudential Clear Water realty office on Craven street in New Bern, NC. My husband and I had nothing but professionalism the whole time we were searching for our dream home and the office is absolutely beautiful! We found a steal and we are so happy to call New Bern our home. For a winner every time contact them!

Default Search tips

Most real estate firms work with the MLS/IDX services. I produce web sites and perform search engine marketing services, and include realtors as my clients.

If you are looking for a specific area of NC, try a yahoo or google search for "townhouses for sale in greenville, nc" for example or "wilmington nc real estate listings" and you'll find realtors with websites in your search results. Be sure to include the state code in your search.

You could also try starting with Homes.com - Real Estate and Homes For Sale., then narrow it from there.

Another one that I like is Realtor.com, You can break it down to pretty close what you want in the -advance search- on that site.
