No, they normally go door-to-door. They always have some annoying sales pitch and I have to shoo them off. I've never bought steaks from any door-to-door salesman.

Ha! No, they walked up to my house - they were canvassing the neighborhood. I told him it seemed weird to me that people buy meat off a truck and he said, "how do you think it gets to the grocery store?"

Nice enough guy, but no...

I really miss the grocery stores up north where they still cut meat in the store, the meat cases are three times the size, and the quality is alot better. Also goes for produce

If you are cooking for several people, Sams club steaks are a good price. If you ask them nicely, they'll cut up a chuck roast into stew meat for you. Fresh Market is nice, if pricey. They're both choice, though. Is there any place in Greenville/ENC that sells prime beef? Walmart has been pumping those "We swapped their steaks with Wal-Mart brand. Let's see if they can tell the difference" ads pretty hard the last few weeks, but I hardly ever shop there.

That's kind of like the men selling shrimp from a truck on the side of the road. It just seems weird.
