I plan on moving to the Wilmington area next summer. Does anyone know how much nurses make there and how difficult would it be finding a job? I'm currently a LPN. I'm wanting to do a bridge program from LPN to RN while I am there. Any schools around there offer that kind of program?

I will just find out what I need to know when I'm down visiting my father. Thanks anyway.

Since the hospitals do not post their nursing pay scales on the web, all I could do is suggest using a salary guide site like glassdoor.com . It gives some results, but I have no idea how meaningful they area: http://www.glassdoor.com/Salaries/lp...SRCH_KO0,3.htm

Thanks for responding. My dad lives in Sneads Ferry and I visit about twice a year. Next time I'm down I will have to check out the job market for nurses.

Probably Cape Fear Community College is what you should look at: Cape Fear Community College

Also in Jacksonville, Coastal Carolina CC offers an LPN to associate degree program.
