Anyone have pics of downtown greenville? I see these skyline views of cities all over but nothing like that for Greenville.

Greenville doesn't really have a skyline of skyscrapers to take a pic of. Greenville for the most part is very proud of it's downtown and it would take an awful lot of money to get them to allow a tall building there.

I was going to say Greenville doesnt have any buildings over say 3 stories I think - with the exception of the dorms. The city skyline isnt really there - like most of the cities you see. Its a small downtown area with mostly "bars and clubs". That really is all downtown is - and the courthouse!

You really need to stop your car, get out and do some walking around. Although there is one street that does cater to the college crowd the remainder of downtown does not. There are businesses like bookstores, coffee houses, small shops, hair stylists, the public library, a bike shop, florists, the list goes on and on. Greenville has spent a lot of time trying the diversify their downtown and to say that all it is is bars and clubs isn't even close.

Greenville is one of those towns that blocked their main street and tried to turn it into a pedestrian mall. Then they turned around after the entire downtown was dead, and opened it up to traffic again. Earlier posters are correct. No skyline. Highest building are a couple of ECU Dorms.
Mostly like small urban sprawl.

Its just big box's in the sky probally 10 stories or less. the area in the city that should be called downtown is the medical district that is bigger than downtown but has short buildings to but has hotels.
