Can anyone recommend a good beach rental? (Raleigh, Durham: rentals, house)

Looking for something near Wrightsville Beach, either local private owner rental where we can easily pick up keys or recommendation. Family of three all adults. Thanks.

The moderator enforces the rules according to the location the query is about. Which is curious, as the coastal residents like me are homeowners, who are probably not looking for a beach rental. All I can suggest is using VRBO.com to locate owner properties.

My post was directed to any Raleigh area residents that live in Raleigh but own beach property and may be interested in renting to a local family. But like I said I don't understand why a moderator would edit the title and then move it. Because I ask locals in Raleigh about a beach topic??

I've rented a great house on the sound in Avon on the outer banks. The owner, Glen has another house on OBX that he rents too. He no longer uses a management company so the price is a little lower. They stay pretty booked up. Great location, well maintained and very comfortable. This is the one I've stayed in:
