Default industry work in wilmington

I am considering UNCW for the Fall of 2008.
I am living in Raleigh and am a student at NC State.
If anyone has any information on the restaurant industry and the hiring trends it would be greatly appreciated.
I have heard mixed reviews about it and thought this forum may help.
Thanks again.

I am not sure what your asking Wilmington is great big city not as big as Charlotte or L.A. but you shouldn't have trouble finding jobs there if that is what your asking. Check out the newspaper Home | StarNewsOnline.com | Star-News | Wilmington, NC for job listings.

The restaurant business is kind of unique.
Connections are the key to restaurant business and my hope by posting was to talk to an industry kid and find out what they knew about the wilmington scene. Most good restaurants hire through word of mouth not by ads.Thank you so much for your response.
