This guy has a real knack at being at the right place at the right time. Last year, he came across a massive great white about 25 miles off the coast of Wrightsville Beach and now, he posts an up close encounter with humpback whales. I really need to go boating with him ;-)
so cool! he does have the knack ,although if one spends enough time
in and around the water one will see animals.
we have so far seen a right whale and her calf , a leatherback turtle [ look them up , the largest turtle]
we watched him/her for a good thirty minutes.
this fall we saw the tail of a huge whale slapping the water, mind you this is just
from sitting on the beach.
