I'm leaving tomorrow to go there for 5 days. What do you think of Wilmington?

Are there any cool restaurants or attractions I should check out?

Thanks for your input!

I love the Wilmington area. There are lots of interesting things to do there. Ft. Fisher Aquarium, trolley rides, horse-drawn carriage tours, the Henrietta riverboat (there are river tours and dinner cruises), museums, Poplar Grove Plantation, Orton Plantation, the USS North Carolina, beaches, the Cotton Exchange (shopping), etc.

I hope you have a great time.

Do check out the Ft. Fisher Aquarium and possibly the battleship they have out there. It is a nice attraction. I love Wilmington and the surrounding areas. The historical district is nice too. Have fun.

Michaels Seafood Restuarant, the best crab cakes in the world Don't miss this.

I heard Freddy's is great, I didn't get a chance to go, but go and report back to us, so I can see if I missed something.

Don't go in the choppy water...........trust me, I'll never be the same. If you get hurt see Dr. Richard Moore at Wilmington Othapedics he's an excellent surgeon. Be careful!!!

When you get back, please be sure to fill us in on what all you did during your visit. I lived there for 11 years and I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
