Question for the locals on OBX (Nags Head: restaurants, beach, food)

What are you guys missing...... when you travel outside of OBX and see the differnt types of food eatin or take.. what do you see missing on OBX... I couldnt find a good hamburger / hotdog shack for the life of me went to 2 differnt places and the burgers were O.K. and I am not into the five guys $10 burger/ fries... are there any places to get a burger fries and drink for $6-7 thats actually good ?

Kill Devil's Custard and Fries has really good juicy burgers for cheap. Their french fries are great too. It's a walk-up window style place, so you have to eat outside. It can be a little crowded in the summer. It beats the crap out of Five Guys.

Most of ENC is lacking when it comes to good, non-chain restaurants.

Dune Burger in Nags Head

Walk-up burger joint, which is great place to grab lunch after a day at beach around Jeanette Pier.
Good for a quick burger and fries. Only had a burger and it was good and tasty. There is picnic tables nearby.

The beach and only the beach..........everything else on OBX sucks.
