We moved here about 2 weeks ago and will need to find a Movement Disorder Neurologist here. We are living in Greenville NC.
My husband has Parkinson's Disease and we were seeing an MD from Philly before moving.

My insurance plan identifies most of the neurologists in Pitt County as belonging to:

East Carolina Neurology Inc.
2280 Hemby Ln
Greenville, NC 27834

Phone: (252) 752-4848

I don't have personal experience, but this practice has 11 of the 12 neurologists in Pitt County. You might as well start by calling them.

BTW, Greenville probably has the best medical care in most of eastern NC.

My Neurologist is Dr. Bryan Cooper

Greenville, NC 27858

252-215-3067

Migraine headaches, back pain, hip pain, neurological consultations, nerve blocks , botox treatments from Eastern Headache and Spine. Greenville, NC. Dr. Bryan Cooper

I am not sure if he specializes in Parkinson's but, if not, I am sure they could direct you.

Good luck on your new move to our area. kelsie

Reviving this old thread to ask if anyone has experience with Dr. Patterson at EC neurologists. My daughter a student at ECU needs to see a neurologist, another Dr. in this practice was recommended but he can't see him until March. We don't want to wait because of her symptoms.Dr. Patterson can see her next week, I've seem a couple of negative reviews for Patterson, very rude doesn't care about patients etc. Don't think my daughter will handle this well she's already very upset.

Anyone have experience with her?

This is one of the best doctors I've ever had. I suffer from migraines and he is awesome at treatment.

I see you have moved away now - I bet you miss him!

G&B Even though we have relocated out of State Dr. Bryan Cooper will remain my Dr., he is an excellent Specialist.

Your daughter would be in very caring hands with Dr. Cooper.
