I currently have Time Warner cable and I am thinking of dropping them and getting suddenlink for internet and phone and then a satellite dish for TV. For those who have it, are they any good, especially in the New Bern area? Thanks.

If you have Time Warner then Suddenlink is probably not available. Their service areas are adjacent, they do not overlap.

To answer the question, they are pretty good. Gotten better over time. Now we have tv, internet, and phone with them. While I hate their stupid commercials, and felt they got off to a rocky start, I really cannot complain.

Having said that, I am not sure you have a choice. I think it is one or the other. The cable business is not exactly above the board, IMHO!

Good Luck.

When I lived in NC, I only had their internet. The speed and price were both decent. However, I did get cut off a few times for downloading movies and tv shows.
