The nearest one is in Fredricksburg,VA if you are jonesing for Zweigels and hard rolls. But there are plenty of options down here so I don't miss Weggies as much as my wife claims to.

We are about to close on a property near Ocean Isle, do people tend to go up to Wilmington or Down to MB when going out for entertainment/amenities?

Next year will be an opening of a Wegmans in Charlottesville, VA and 'we will send your suggestion of opening in Brunswick County - ' to the head of their Real Estate Division! Sometimes ya just gotta ask!!!

So is it about 35 miles and 45 minutes from the poster's community to the major stores in Wilmington?
Is it about the same to the stores in Myrtle Beach?

That sounds fine to me.

I was replying to biscman's inquiry about whether there was a Costco or Home Depot in Greenville. I pointed out that those stores may be in Wilmington or Myrtle Beach.
