If its UNCW, check the student union where folks post subleases...or there may be a website for the student union that has that stuff...craigslist as well.

Racine Drive is the hub of student apartments, most of them are well kept. The newest hub is Randall Parkway, where some new complexes are being built...both lead right into UNCW and are heavily traveled with walkers/bikers.

If you were speaking of East Carolina U and asking about Greenville, there are many threads on "safe apartments in Greenville".
