The downtown streetscape project in Goldsboro is coming along at a good pace the project will bring a big change in the look and feel of the cities core, three roundabouts will be put in place down Center Street, the middle one at Walnut Street will contain a large granite water fountain 12 to 16 feet high and the other two roundabouts will contain local public art. Also the sidewalks will be widened from 12 feet to almost 20 feet, the area will also get a speaker system and free WiFi connectivity. At the same time Walnut St from Center St down to Carolina St to Union Station will be renovated with new sidewalks ,lighting and landscaping to go along with the new transfer center for the local bus system, Greyhound and the Amtrak shuttle bus.

See now, you gotta ignore the haters because they always come armed with statistics and facts. Damn those haters. I'm just kidding with you. Goldsboro has never had a voice here at the City-data forums and it's good for them to have one. Perhaps you can start a thread dedicated to Goldsboro kinda like the Greenville Area Developments thread. It is a requirement here at the City-data forums that threads must stay on topic.

You can post about the good stuff happening in Goldsboro and then when the haters show up, request their posts be removed for being off topic.

Thanks I just might do that I do love reading the Greenville thread with a little bit of envy lol but I realize that what's going on in Greenville is good for the entire region of enc, every city in this region has a role to play in the success of the region, we need a regional mentality in the area.
