A Pension & 1 SSI at full benefits & 1 SSI at 62 years benefits. We are not living high on the hog as it was once said. We are renting, lovely townhome and area. We are healthy, take no meds. Belong to O2 Fitness , watch what we eat.
Happy? Hell yes. We are so happy and could care less about Granite counter tops & stainless steel appliances. A good cook only needs love of cooking & a sense of flavors.

We eat well, have a nice place,go out to eat, and save money at $40K.

Did I forget ...The Ocean is 12 mins away.

Thanks. We are originally from Linden, NJ. Husband retired from GM after 34 years. We then moved to the Poconos. Sold that home (at a loss sad to say) and moved here Sept. 1st. We were on the beach yesterday and walked along the ocean. Beautiful day here.

My good buddy Mark Decorso worked at GM as well, wonder if your husband knew him. Quite a difference from Linden, NJ eh..... I grew up in Jersey City and now live in Tinton Falls for past 8 years. Will be moving to coastal NC within 18 months at the latest......

Heard it was near 80 there this weekend. Congrats on your retirement and relocation...
