Since I don't have kids in school, I will limit myself to a couple of general comments. Northside is located in a newer and fairly affluent area, so I am not surprised that it is the highest rated. Dixon, where I live, has a fairly old physical plant. I am not very impressed with the school although it gets an average rating.
Google tells me that Northside also has an Air Force JROTC, and the related courses look interesting. Jacksonville High also has an Engineering Academy. The course guide is here:
