Ok so I am very familiar with both of these towns Ayden & Famville both in Pitt County NC, Greenville Surrounding area to be exact but my exact question is which of these two towns do you think is bigger Farmville or Ayden. Me personally despite Ayden having a population by one thousand more than Farmville I just feel like Farmville might be bigger so what do y'all think
I say ayden since i live in the rural part and part of ayden is in greene county which a lot of people are not aware on down in between scuffleton and ormondsville is ayden

Ummm... No. The Ayden we are discussing is centered at NC 102 and NC 1149. There is in fact, nothing but cornfields between Scuffleton and Ormondsville with an occasional single wide or house. Your mail may addressed as Ayden but only because that is the closest post office. I live 5 miles south of Greenville at Cox Crossing on NC 43 but I have a Greenville address. I'm not in Greenville.

Richard is right, Ayden is completely within Pitt County.. even their extraterritorial jurisdictions (ETJ). And it is likely that the mailing address would be Ayden. For instance, much of Winterville's mailing address is actually within Greenville's Jurisdiction or out in the County.

I know the spot he's talking about. It's two turns away from Ayden. But it's also about 4 or 5 miles.
