Ok I will be part of the solution. There will never be another catestrophic hurricane here on the coast simply because we have chosen to ignore past history and developed incessantly. Now why didn't New Orleans think of this?

This thread has become more about spat between members and less about Hurricanes.
Moving to the coast you will deal with the risk of hurricanes it is nothing new. It has been going on for decades and centuries. Development will happen regardless it been going on since the first settlers landed on Roanoke Island.
Moving to an area then complain about them seems quite fruitless since the risk has been there since the day before any of us was born.
There is no place that is Utopia and every area has some type of issue that we as humans are not happy about. Turning the things that bring us down and look for the bright side or solution is key.
