We are looking for a racially diverse church in Washington or Greenville, NC. One where the congregation was diverse and the church staff was diverse (or even predominantly african-American). Must also have a children's program. We are open to most denominations as long as it is not too conservative.

A Church general serves and reflects the neighborhood that it is located in. Look around where you live. ENC is not known for its lack of Churches, I'm sure one is near by.

Note that most of the traditional Baptist churchs seem aligned along racially separate lines. I'd look for a non-denominational church that has modern services, perhaps the Ignite Church.

Thanks! We actually live in Washington, but have visited or inquired at most churches here. There is no diversity in churches here, or really neighborhoods. That's why we were venturing out to greenville, just needed some guidance.
