Just back from another "mancation" with my buds. This time played Crow Creek, Sandpiper Bay, Carolina National (Winding River) and Cape Fear National (Brunswick Forest). The Crow is a great track and in great shape with a new clubhouse. Scale of 1 - 10 gets a 7. Sandpiper is always a fun round and the help is top notch. With three nines things move along well. Rate this one 7.5. Carolina National is a real treat, played all three nines. Great lunch also. I would give this one a 8.5. Cape Fear is visually stunning but a very hard course. Lost 6 balls, three on the second hole. I would give it an 8 but would not play it often as it is better than my game. Lucky Brunswick County residents to have courses like this at your beck and call. I'll be down there in a few years to join the fun.
