It appears the Brewers will have an affiliation with the Mudcats next season, nothing confirmed yet.

It appears that many others (including myself) agree with you.

The choices have been narrowed to: "Hogzilla, Hamhawks, and Shaggers"

If the goal is to make the team sound like it's located in the biggest red-neck area in the country - guess they nailed it.Stuff like this is why Kinston can't have nice things...oh, well, the crime doesn't help either.

I don't mind them having a pig themed mascot. Eastern NC is pig country for sure...

Kinston Hamhawks is starting to wear me down. A funny flying pig logo/mascot would be ok i suppose.

**I did not draw this**

"Shaggers" belongs down in Myrtle Beach, IMO.

Confirmed:

Mudcats, Brewers announce PDC agreement | Carolina Mudcats News

This will be the Mudcats 7th different affiliation since 1991. Despite their popularity with the fans they've had difficulty in holding relationships with MLB teams since the turn of the century (they were affiliated with Pittsburgh for just about all of the 90's).

A Mudcats stadium Inside the Beltline would be so awesome, and increase attendance immensely. Too bad it is against the rules, because it would be too close to the Bulls.
