Same thing that happened to us around 4 years ago. For the past 23 years 12 of us go to NC Coast for Spring golf trip and we were shocked we got on the Reserve Course. Beautiful course and well taken care of.

Agree on the average score of most golfers but it does drive me nuts as I was a pretty good athlete growing up in the 70's playing Soccer, Basketball, and Softball when I got into my 20's in the "Bar" leagues of Jersey City...

I don't get upset as I just enjoy getting out to play and have a few beers at the 19th hole. Life is too short to get upset. Not like I'm going to join the Seniors tour any time soon......

Hackers beware!! I'm heading your way as soon as we sell.

Don't be so hard on yourself as the average golfer shoots 105. Played this AM here in PA and I shot 100 and the rest of the foursome were within 4 strokes of me. I'll be joining the Hackers in a couple of years. May pull the plug next year at 62 and start enjoying life.

Mr Belly, you will definitely have a great time. Another great group to hang out with down there is the "CFAG" group. You have to be a military vet but their deal is even better. For $19.00 you get breakfast, 18 holes, cart, and lunch with 2 beers....

As you can see there's options if your a hacker like me and don't want to spend 400.00 a month on dues and a 30k stroke for a Country Club.

Plan on joining the Social Membership or hopefully buy a resale and transfer the membership for 5k I think...

Gonna get a hat with emblem of "#1 Hacker"!!!!
