We visited Scotch Hall Preserve outside Edenton a couple years ago. Nice community on the water. We would have purchased but Edenton was a little too remote for me. They offer a real nice package to come visit the community.

Most of Brunswick Forest isn't gated, nor is Magnolia Greens. I live in Southport, its a wonderful little town that you should definitely visit.
