Tuesday through Friday is supposed to be nice with a slight chance of showers towards the end of the week

Thanks gjjb1953 (I pulled up the forecast for New Bern, where I'll be staying, it looks like rain until maybe Wed./Thurs. then rain for the forseeable future, LOL - it only forecasts 10 days) - I'm going to hope for the best.

Don't think I've ever seen it rain sideways for so long.

It finally stopped raining sometime last night.

Early this morning the wife and I got out to clean up all the debris in the yard. Sticks, twigs and what ever those little curly worm looking things that come from the pine trees were everywhere. I think we picked up 5-7 cubic yards of stuff. It took almost all day to get the yard back in shape. Now it just needs to dry out enough to mow. With forecast showers over the next few days, I am not sure when that will be.

Send the rain up to the Hudson Vally NY region we can use it. Unusually dry spring up here.

Well, now the forecast is looking up a bit (you know how that is, wait a few hours, it'll change - I was hoping for the rain they called for NoVa today (to avoid me watering up before my trip) - not a drop.
