A friend is relocating to Wilmington. He is coming alone while his family is still prepping to follow. He needs a room for upto a couple months. Does anyone have any ideas on a cheap extended stay motel or even a room? Id keep him with me but we live to far away to commute on a daily basis TIA

There's the Burgaw Motel that gets decent reviews. He might be able to negotiate a long-term rate.

Otherwise, there are many rooms in apartments on the Wilmington Craigslist, if he is open to that.
