If you work on the island, do you have to pay for the ferry? Is there at least a discounted fee? Thanks

I don't think it's a silly question. I'm not exactly sure of the answer, but there is a way to at least pay less. There's a "contractor" schedule and a visitor who doesn't have luggage can pay a discounted rate, too, but I'm not sure what that is.

The round trip rate is $15.75 for people who work on the island, versus $24.75 for the "regular" rate.

I work for the developer and my ferry and parking fees are taken care of. I do not get paid for the ferry ride. I know people that work for other companies that pay for either one way or both on the ferry but not the tickets. If you are looking at employment options on the island, those are questions you should ask.
