I am a 20 year old male, just looking to get out of Michigan, closer to the ocean, warm weather, and a place with things to do. Currently I have been looking at Wilmington, just trying to read up on it. What are your thoughts on Wilmington as far a the college scene, things to do, people, just anything you feel like a 20 year old would want to know, lol. I will be attending a community college where ever I end up. Been looking at Phoenix, but I am not sure if I can stand the 120 degrees and that its a while from the beach. Thank for any input or suggestions!

I posted a similar question... people seem to not want to answer us "youngins" lol. I've just been reading b/t the lines in the other posts. If a city makes for a good retirement community, then I generally don't think I would be happy there. Most areas around Raleigh, Chapel Hill, etc would be great for people our age BUT IT'S FAR FROM THE BEACH. So good luck on your search! I've posted in the Coastal NC forum and R/D forum. So maybe someone will reply and you can read up on it! Good luck.
