Hi all~

We are heading to Emerald Isle this week and I was wondering is there are any must see places I should visit?
Also, is there a seafood house that has amazing food but not stuffy in the surrounding areas (willing to drive 60 minutes?)

TIA

Channel Marker restaurant is a must-do for us when we visit Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle (that whole strand). Have fun!

Blue Moon Bistro, Beaufort Grocery and Aqua in Beaufort are worth a visit.

There are tons of restaurants. I would NOT drive 60 minutes to one.

We enjoyed Amos Mosquito's in Atlantic Beach. It's a super kitschy atmosphere, but they have amazing fresh local seafood. Sit out where you get a view.

This seems like a question that might get more responses on Trip Advisor.

Oh, and you must go to El's in Morehead City, or Big Oak Drive-in in Salter Path for a shrimp burger!
