I am in the same position as kkimmy. We will be moving in May to either New Bern or Willmington. Any info I can get for my special needs adult daughter would be helpful. I understand what people are saying about funding but I don't need much. I hope I can find something for her.

There was recently a letter in the New Bern paper (Sun Journal) from a distraught mom of a child who had been in EC system at school but who was not finding any post school opportunities.

That is all I know, but the letter caught my attention. Just a data point for you.
