If we are to depend on the Mayan's prophetic abilities shouldn't we wonder how they missed the arrival of the conquistadores and the subsequent subjugation of their civilization, the conquest of their people, the end of their way of life, and the loss of all that they held dear? I know, off topic but the world can't end tomorrow, we have Cat-Tales (December) to get out, just saying.

Thanks for posting Cat Tales. For some reason Oct can not be accessed but I did enjoy reading Sept and Nov. I especially like the back story on new arrivals. Hope in 4 years it will be me.

Closed on lot, joined club, and ready to build in spring of 2013. I saw the comments on screen porch/Mosquitos. How heavy is the pine pollen in the spring down there? Our experience in Raleigh is rinsing or blowing the pollen off an open porch is much easier. Also, any opinions on Signature as a builder ?

IsleBBack, stop by 2857 Trailwood Drive and say hello, they just moved into their new home a couple of months ago, very nice people, get it right from the horses' mouth, they complain non-stop about their builder, he didn't do this, he didn't complete that, this is wrong, the contract said this and he did something else, hard to get him to come back.... guess who.... Signature Builders.
