I have started receiving email blasts about Hurricane Michael. I am happy to post them but don’t want to overwhelm this thread (like I did during Florence) if no one is interested.

Let me know.

Regardless, stay safe.

Thanks.

My wife and I were down to SJP for a long weekend, meeting with our builder.

All I can say is that we were very impressed at the cleanup efforts. Still a detour for SJP Drive coming in from Main Gate, but almost no visible damage throughout the neighborhood, with the exception of the 2 ginormous piles across from the Members Club.

Kudos to all the crews on a fantastic job.

Steve

Escaper, it’s good to hear a visitor’s impression. Since we returned from evacuation, SJ crews and virtually every homeowner have worked hard to clean up the debris and downed trees. It looked very bad right after Florence hit the area. Many of us now are replacing landscaping that was damaged beyond repair. It will be beautiful by Spring!

Happy Holidays to one and all at SJP!

We have made our selections and should be breaking ground on our new home in January, joining the fun by approximately August. No more Hurricanes, ok?

Congrats Tarheel, Escaper!!

May I ask who you are using to build? My wife and I are just starting the process of picking the builder.

Tribute Homes. We were fine with their model and upgrades. They arenít a custom builder so upgrades are plentiful but you must stay with their options.
