I am curious, how has homeowner's insurance rates been affected post-Florence? I am trying to get a feel for homeowner's coverage rates for SJP.

Standard homeowners insurance didnít go up much but the wind insurance went up several hundred dollars. Our house is modest (2400 square ft., about $380k) and it went from about $2850 to $3400. Then thereís flood insurance for $500.

Property taxes may be lower here but the insurance premiums are high.

Our policy includes Wind and hail but costs $1600 total.
We have similar property too. Also, when we lived on Long Island our homeowners insurance was about $3000
And our flood insurance was $1600. After Sandy our homeowners insurance did not pay us a dime but the flood insurance got us thru the disaster.

Looking for recommendation for Dentist near SJP. Interest in DDS with modern equipment, such as ultrasound for teeth cleaning, etc. Thanks!
