New Bern Marketplace is a retail center planned at the southwest corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Glenburnie Road in the city of New Bern in Craven County, North Carolina.

New Bern Marketplace site plan

New Bern Marketplace would be anchored by a 100,000-square-foot Harris Teeter supermarket, a 62,000-square-foot Academy Sports + Outdoors, a 55,000-square-foot Hobby Lobby, and a 22,000-square-foot Ross.

Harris Teeter
The new Harris Teeter at New Bern Marketplace will replace store 221, Crossroads Shopping Center, 2019 South Glenburnie Road, New Bern, North Carolina 28562-5228. At 100,000 square feet, I wonder if this store could be the first Harris Teeter Marketplace hypermarket.

Anything to ease the lunacy of HT & Publix across the street from each other!

Default Harris Teeter, New Bern Marketplace, New Bern, North Carolina

I have heard the Harris Teeter at New Bern Marketplace will be a Harris Teeter Marketplace indeed. It would be the first Marketplace store for Harris Teeter.

Haha! I'm personally looking forward to the opening of the new Harris Teeter at Carolina Colors. We've desperately needed a decent grocery store on this side of town--the Food Lion in James City is horrible! The HT at CC is just a few miles down the road from me. I'll finally be able to purchase decent meat and produce without having to trek across town or deal with beach traffic on 70. Yay!

They waited until I no longer had the daily trek to Havelock to get started. Having that HT would have been so nice!

I wonder if Harris Teeter will do any more stores this size.

If Harris Teeter is surpassing 100,000 square feet with Harris Teeter Marketplace stores, it is likely more stores will be on their way.

I wonder what the life expectancy of Food Lion #817, Trent East Crossing, 935 US Highway 70 East, New Bern, North Carolina 28560-6535, could be after Harris Teeter at Carolina Colours opens.
