The latest TV weather forecast has rain ending Saturday afternoon, and partly cloudy on Sunday and Monday. So, if you had plans for the beach you might get two good days.

I am closest to North Topsail Beach, and the weather is still mostly sunny.

Lots of rain, but the winds haven't arrived yet.

Just left wrightsville beach access 4. A little windy, Sun was in and out, but the water was nice and shallow for a good distance during low tide. Perfect beach weather, I'd def come if you had previous plans.

Can you please share first hand information about roads leading up to Wilmington / Wrightsville beach and the situation in and around town? We have plans to head down tomorrow morning from Raleigh and return on Monday. Not sure if any power lines/trees were knocked down and streets flooded in the aftermath of Hermine.

Since we're traveling with very young kids, we'd like to be cautious.

It was clear and mostly sunny late yesterday afternoon in the Oak Island/Holden Beach area. Nothing in the local ILM media about any problems.

Very sorry just saw this. We have family in from Fayetteville. No road closings. Went to Kure last night. Great weather.
