From what I've read about the unpublished links is it is basically a way to collect money on innocent people. You pay one site to remove it, and the info just pops back up on another. There is even a whole business model in paying a company to remove data from these sites, and obscure Google search results. It is not cheap. Who knows, those data obscuring companies could be owned by the same people publishing the photos.

The court system is flimsy at best.

Deals being made behind closed doors.

Everyone lies.

The actual truth is irrelevant.

People believe what that want to believe or what will benefit them.

In the mean time, the guilty walk and the innocent fry.
