This may have been reported earlier but, if so, I missed it.

My brother was visiting from up north yesterday and I wanted to take him to the Pharmacy for lunch. I was surprised (and disappointed) to find there is craft paper covering the windows and door and a small sign indicating there is a new owner and closed for renovation or something to that effect.

I always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance there although did try to guard against paint chips from the ceiling falling into my food (you had to be there to understand!). Hopefully they will reopen soon as good as ever.

Any information on the new owner and the restaurant plans?

I remember that one from when I lived down there, 22 years ago!

Hope the Provision Company is still going strong. Beer and shrimp on the waterway, watching "cool" guys smash their boats into the dock as they "boated in" for a bite to eat. Just did not get any better!

New owner is Oliver Landis, of Oliver's. He has also purchased a building across the street from the Pharmacy. I have heard he is going to open an oyster bar in one of the locations, don't know about the other one.
