Hello all! First I want to thank you all for your responses and information for us to make the decision to relocate to the Wilmington area. My husband has a job lined up in Leland to start mid January so we are looking to move very soon from Arizona. We are looking for a short term rental for about 6 months as we would like to buy a home sooner rather than later.

So any recommendations on a two bedroom apartment with the following:

- Budget less than $950
- 6 month lease
- Two beds, good space since we have two little kids (4 and 2) above 800 sqft
- safe, quiet and kid friendly
(not concerned on school district)
- not too long commute to Leland
- and CLEAN! no bugs, etc

Thank you!

I don't know a lot about it, but supposedly Brunswick Point apartments are nice: Brunswick Point

There's not a lot of apartments in Brunswick County. You might find a condo for rent on Craigslist, but $950 may be too low for that.

Thank you for the info! But I think we are going to keep our eye on a place to live in Wilmington. There are quite a few apartment complexes near the University so I am assuming to stay clear of those.
